The last couple of months I was busy with ‘preparing for’ and ‘presenting on’ 2 events. My first presentation was on a Dutch community event called Expertslive and 2 weeks ago I presented on the 4th edition of the NIC conference. The topic of both presentations was Service Monitoring. How can we enhance our monitoring by adding Service Monitoring to our SCOM environments? In the following series of blogposts I want to share this information also through my blog. Squared Up: Upgrading version 1.9 to 2.0

This blogpost is about upgrading your existing 1.9 version of Squared Up to new released version 2.0. Squared Up is a very rich HTML 5 dashboarding solution with Alert and Reporting functionality. Squared Up can replace your existing Operations Manager Web Console. Version 1.9 already contained very rich functionalities to replace your Web Console but with version 2.0 we get improvements. SCOM 2012: Process Monitoring on Session Hosted Servers

This week I received a question about process monitoring. The question was about monitoring CPU and Memory usage of processes on RDS or Citrix XenApp Session Host servers. Process monitoring is one of the standard capabilities so I started with configuring process monitoring through the template which you can find in the Authoring section.
