Normally I write this blogpost at the end of the year but the last couple of weeks of 2017 were very busy so the time to write blogposts was very limited. 2017 started great with receiving my second MVP Award. I really like sharing my knowledge with the community and again receiving the MVP award for this is a honor. In 2017 I also changed jobs, I started at KPN Consulting as a Technical Consultant with a strong focus on Intune, ConfigMgr and Windows 10. With this job switch my knowledge area changed from primarily RDS to Intune, ConfigMgr and Windows 10. All these changes were great and I’m looking forward to continue sharing my knowledge in 2018.

My Blog: 2016 in Review
StandardThis year started great with receiving my first MVP Award. I really like sharing my knowledge with the community! This year was also the year that Azure RemoteApp were retired by Microsoft, based on that decision the focus has become Remote Desktop Services and the Enterprise Mobility Suite. I want to share some statistics of this year with you. This blogpost will also be the last blogpost of this year!
MVP Award
StandardYesterday when celebrating ‘New-Year’ with my family I received an awesome email. Microsoft presented me my first MVP award in the category: Enterprise Mobility.
This is really a great start of 2016! I’m really proud and honored that my contributions are rewarded with a MVP Award. In 2016 I will continue sharing my knowledge by presenting on events and blogging on this blog. The focus will remain the same: Remote Desktop Services and Azure RemoteApp (and related technology).
Thanks again to Microsoft and you as a reader of my blog!

New challenge at inovativ
StandardToday I started at a new job challenge. I joined inovativ as a System Center Consultant. It’s my personal ambition is to expand my System Center knowledge and do a lot of System Center related projects for inovativ.
See below a short summarize of the goal of inovativ:
‘’Inovativ’ is spelled in its own special way, for a company that helps its customers in its own special way in order to obtain sustainable and customized solutions. We offer more than promises and speeches; we offer the real deal. We don’t have salesmen or account managers; we employ Consultants who give advice and implement the solution themselves. It’s personal contact, just as it’s supposed to be.’
More information about inovativ can be found here.
I will continue to blog about the system center products, so no change on that. 🙂
Please note that the information which is found on this blog is my personal opinion and not the opinion of my employer.
Vroege.biz – System Center Blog redesigned and moved to a new server
StandardLast weeks I have moved my blog from blogger to an own hosted server. On this server I can use WordPress as a blog system. I like WordPress and the number of plugins and themes is great. I also deleted some old posts from my blog. As you can see the layout is also changed from some basic blogger style to a fresh new ‘Metro’ style. In the coming months I want to spend more time with blogging about the System Center products. I will primarily blog about System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager and System Center Service Manager.
Let me know what you think of the new layout?
Have Fun!
